[name removed] was excellent. Generous with his time, understanding, non judgemental. He gave me relevant exercises, listened to my needs and shared valuable insights.

ME/CFS is a nervous system disregulation, caused by trauma and stress, meaning people who have the condition have heightened anxiety levels. Having your practitioners be aware of this before visiting would be hugely helpful. On my very first appointment with [name removed] (who I had before Mikos), when assessing me she asked me to detail the trauma that contributed to the stress that caused my condition which can be a very triggering thing. Better awareness of how to appropriately talk to people who have become ill due to trauma/stress amungst your whole team would be really appreciated.

I felt the nurses in the A and E department were rude and didnt care for the patience. They looked like they didn't want to be there and I found it very difficult to get any ones attention when needed. When moved to a ward it did improve.

I was not told once what was being put into my body on the drip. Wasn't told any information about what was happening to me and was left not knowing what was happening or when I was going to he able to go home.

Each time I meet a new doctor I need to explain everything from beginning which is difficult in terms of remembering all the things I've been through . If there was a way to collect all the information in one file that would reduce the burden

The team did look after me well, they were kind and supportive. [name removed] introduced me to cycling and the gym.
